It was a terrifying experience on a plane. While traveling among the clouds a large boom then the feeling of descent.
The captains voice came to us shaky and dire, "I regret the planes engines have failed there is nothing we can do but hope the crash will be made easy for most of us, please pray, comfort and brace yourselves for what will come".
We were stunned, sometime passed with us diving deeper toward death when a distraught woman screamed and ripped herself out of her seat and shouted with tears in her eye's, "Is there any man here strong enough to make me feel like a real woman?"
Time passed and she cried horribly. I stood although shaking and crying and shouted, "I am!" We looked at each other, both wanting someone to comfort us and the spark between a man and woman grew, very fast in real time but I could have looked into her puffy red crying eyes for years. We shared that moment and the passengers became quiet, all eyes on us.
Seriously I don't remember much after that but when we landed, a lot of old women were slapping me on the back of my head cursing me and the men were giving me "atta boys".
I decided to grab a drink at the airport because not only did I not have a memory of what happened, those old ladies hit hard, I didn't have my shirt either just my under shirt.
In the bar I grabbed a bourbon and saw the one person that had brought me to such an emotional act, she recoiled herself in her booth when she saw me.
I didn't care and jumped into her booth.
"Look here!" I said, "I don't remember what we did up there, but our hearts we're together I saw it in your beautiful eye's, you called to me- you needed me and I needed you even more because of it"
"You bastard!" she said enraged, "is that all you remember?" This was going too fast in the wrong direction so I downed my bourbon to think of something clever to say.
My finished glass hit the table with impact and I said, "YES!"
She said, "Okay, you answered my call and I was thankful- we shared a wonderful moment together then you ripped your shirt off, I was really attracted to the thought of what you might do to me but the plane up-righted and the captain announced they had control of the engines again".
"And I'm a bastard because of that?" I said.
"No, because you threw the shirt at me and said iron this!" she said.
"Oh my, I didn't, I'm sorry I must have been out of my head to say such a thing" she broke in "it's alright we were all a little crazy, sorry I hit you and knocked you out".
"Oh, that's what happened? That explains much, I'm sorry will you let me buy you another drink?".
"Sure"
We looked at each other a little and began to smile some, the drinks came and we relaxed together.
I started, "So, what happened to my shirt?"
